James R. Wadsworth, Founder & CEO, AI in Corrections, LLC

About Me

My name is Jim Wadsworth, and my journey has been anything but typical. In the late 1960s, I found myself incarcerated, struggling with undiagnosed ADHD. At the time, I didn’t fully understand why I felt disconnected from the world around me or why I made decisions that led me down the wrong path.

While in prison, I discovered a passion for computer programming, which changed my life. After my release, I built a successful career in IT, becoming a respected professional in Carson City and California. But I never forgot where I came from or the challenges I faced.

Now, 55 years later, I’m on a mission to revolutionize how we treat individuals with ADHD and learning disabilities in the correctional system. My goal is simple: to reduce recidivism, help people like me turn their lives around, and ensure that no one is judged solely by their past but by their potential to grow.

Through NDOC.ai and TMC.ai, I’m using AI to create personalized pathways to rehabilitation, focusing on cognitive support, education, and mentorship. It’s my way of giving back and ensuring that the next generation has the support I wish I’d had.

Let’s work together to change lives—one thought at a time.
